Our review

This is a directory review of TesterUp. We have not tested it with a real account, so there is no score or earnings figure. Everything below comes from its home page, and we mark company claims as claims.

How it works

TesterUp says you earn by testing mobile games, completing paid surveys and finishing other tasks. It cites more than 2,000 tasks in total.

Who can join

The page says you must live in the USA, Canada (excluding Quebec) or the UK, and be at least 18 years old. You also need your own PayPal account registered in one of those countries.

How you get paid

Payouts are made through PayPal only. The minimum payout is $55, which is high compared with many reward sites. The company says payouts take up to 3 business days from the moment you start one, and that holidays may cause delays. It says TesterUp is free to use.

What the page does not say

The page does not say whether points expire.

Our view so far

The $55 minimum and PayPal-only payout are the points to weigh. It suits people in the UK, US or Canada who will keep going until they reach the minimum. Until we have tested TesterUp, treat it as an option to check, not a recommendation, and read its terms for your country before you sign up.
