Our review

PrizeRebel is a rewards site where you earn points by completing surveys and other online offers, then exchange them for rewards. This page is a directory review. We have not tested PrizeRebel with a real account yet, so there is no score and no earnings figure here. Everything below comes from the company's own home page, terms and support pages.

How you earn

PrizeRebel says it offers paid surveys from market research companies, and that these pay in cash or gift cards. Its support page adds that members can also earn points from offer walls, by referring friends and through contests and raffles. Signing up is free, according to the home page.

Who can join

The minimum age is 18. The terms say members aged 16 to 18 may join with parental permission, confirmed by ticking a box at signup. The terms do not list eligible countries. They do say you may only complete offers for the country where you currently live, so using a different country can put your account at risk.

The support page says PrizeRebel is available in many countries beyond the US, UK, Canada and Australia, but it also warns that survey availability can be lower in some places, because survey providers target specific groups and locations. If you live outside the main survey countries, expect more of your points to come from offers and referrals than from surveys.

How you get paid

The home page lists PayPal, Bitcoin, Visa cards and gift cards. We could not find a minimum redemption amount or a typical payout time on the pages we read, so check the rewards page after you register and before you spend time earning. That is the single most useful detail for deciding whether it is worth your time.

Rules to know

  • One account per person, and one per household.
  • The company can close an account after 6 months or more of inactivity.
  • Points can be forfeited for breaking the terms.
  • Prize orders are final once shipped.

Our view so far

PrizeRebel offers more than surveys, which helps if surveys are scarce where you live. The gaps are the minimum payout and payout times, which the company does not state on the pages we read. Until we have tested it, treat it as an option to check, not a recommendation, and read the terms for your own country before you sign up.

Pros

  • Free to join, according to the company
  • Payout options include PayPal, Bitcoin, Visa cards and gift cards
  • Members outside the main survey countries can still earn from offers, referrals and contests, the company says

Cons

  • The minimum payout and payout times are not stated on the pages we read
  • Survey supply can be lower in some countries
  • Accounts can be closed after 6 months of inactivity
  • Not tested by us yet
