The page says it is only open to businesses that want to resell Hotjar to their clients. Hotjar advocates are a plus.

What you can earn

A revenue share of up to 25% recurring: 15% on monthly contracts, 20% on annual contracts and 25% on multi-year contracts. The page gives an example of a multi-year $389 a month plan: 10 clients pay $11,670 a year, 50 clients $58,350 and 75 clients $87,525. Those are examples, not promises.

What you need to join

Referrals must sign up for Hotjar themselves through your unique link and subscribe to a paid plan. Sites under your own agency account do not qualify. If you have not heard back about your application after more than a week, the page says to contact partners@hotjar.com.

Other details

Payments stop if the referred customer stops using Hotjar or if you leave the program. If a client stops working with you but keeps a paid Hotjar subscription, you keep earning. Partners also get training, priority support and early access to features.
