How it works

GoDaddy lets you buy domains, hosting, business email, website builders, SSL certificates, servers, Sucuri website security and managed WordPress hosting at reseller prices, and sell them on under your own prices.

Who it is for

The page says IT professionals and all business types are welcome. Basic Reseller is for up to 25 customers and Pro Reseller for unlimited customers.

What you can earn

You set your own prices and keep the margin. The page says Basic Reseller gets standard buy rates, up to 20% off retail, and Pro Reseller gets up to 40% off retail. Commission payouts go via PayPal, EFT, check or GoDaddy Good as Gold, and a month's commissions are usually paid at the end of the following month.

What you need to join

You pay for a plan. At the time we read the page, Basic Reseller was $53.88 for the first year, renewing at $8.99 a month ($107.88), and Pro Reseller was $89.88, renewing at $14.99 a month ($179.88). Prices change by country and date.

Other details

Both plans include a white-label storefront with card processing, 24/7 support, sales and commission reports, WordPress APIs and a plugin, promotions you can run, and a money-back guarantee.

What the source does not say

The page states no eligibility requirements beyond choosing a plan, and no transaction or setup fees beyond the plan prices.

Our view so far

A genuine resale model with a real buy-in and real products. It works if you can win customers who will pay you more than your discounted cost. Until we have tested GoDaddy Reseller Program, treat it as an option to check, not a recommendation, and read the current terms before you sign up.
